  • Who can be a member of Wild Women Outdoors?
    We welcome all women 18+ who have an interest becoming a part of a community of women who love to be outdoors, experience new things and to give themselves the opportunity to grow and learn. There is no experience required to be a part of Wild Women Outdoors! New to hiking? Have never meditated before? No worries! There are other women in your same shoes! We have your back and encourage you to join us in a safe & supportive space to give yourself the opportunity to learn. Our hope is that you will learn a new skill and continue to persue it long after our adventure together!
  • How do I become a Wild Woman?
    You can become an official Wild Women Outdoors member here. We offer a two monthly membership options to better fit your lifestyle and adventure goals! Cancel your membership at any time.
  • What do I get as a member?
    As a member, you are unlocking the door to adventure, community, resources, and wellness! Our members receive free monthly adventures, wellness classes, free welcome packet + swag, discounted large monthly adventures, discounts at local merchants, exclusive access to WWO retreats, and access to private community of like-minded women! Also included are monthly newsletters and first access to sign up for our retreats and adventures which typically fill fast! *See full membership details and options Here!
  • Do I have to have a membership to take part in Wild Women?
    No. While our members save signficantly on adventures, classes and workshops and have more access to these, we do open some adventures up to non-members! We would love for you to join us in adventure as a member or non-member! Try a free today and see if a membership is a good fit for you! *Contagious laughter and fun may occur.
  • What activities are currently planned?

  • How do I sign up for an Adventure or Retreat?
    All adventures and retreats are listed on the adventure page for each city/state. There, you can click on an adventure, and add it to your cart! If you are a member you can use your member discount code at checkout! Discount codes provided in membership welcome email.
  • What is the difference between a social hike and a guided hike?
    Wild Women Outdoors offers free social meetup hikes that are outside of our membership offerings and regular calendar events. These hikes are not guided (hikes where we obtain permits are guided) and are a free social meetup. The intent for these hikes is to gather socially and enjoy the outdoors together. With registration for free hikes you agree to the following... *This is a social meet up and not a guided hike. Participants are responsible for getting to/from the trail and for their personal assessment of difficulty as well as assume all risks associated with hiking with WWO and release the company for any claim of negligence or liability. Participants acknowledge they are personally responsible for being prepared for this hike with necessary items and appropriate clothing/footwear. A suggested packing list is offered but is not an exhaustive list. Participant acknowledges if they leave the group or trail for any reason that they are assuming all incurred risks. Participants EXPRESSLY ASSUME ALL RISK ASSOCIATED WITH THE ACTIVITY. Participant agrees and understands that risks associated with the Activity include, but are not limited to: risk of injury from the activity and equipment utilized is significant including the potential for permanent disability and death, falling, causing broken bones, severe injuries to the head, neck and back which may result in severe impairment or even death, All "acts of nature," including but not limited to avalanche, rock fall, inclement weather, thunder and lighting, severe and or varied wind, temperature, and other weather conditions, risks associated with crossing, climbing or down-climbing of rock, snow, and/or ice, risks associated with river crossings, fordings, or portaging, possible equipment failure and/or malfunction of my own or others' equipment, which may have been rented, borrowed, or personally owned, my own negligence and/or the negligence of others, including employees, agents, independent contractors, ambassadors or representatives of Wild Women Outdoors, LLC including but not limited to operator failure, cold weather and heat related injuries and illness including but not limited to frostnip, frostbite, heat exhaustion, heat stroke, sunburn, hypothermia and dehydration, attack by or encounter with insects, reptiles, and/or animals, accidents or illness occurring in remote places where there are no available medical facilities, fatigue, chill, and/or dizziness, which may diminish my/our reaction time and increase the risk of accident, my sense of balance, physical coordination, and ability to follow instructions. Participants understands the description of these risks is not complete and that unknown or unanticipated risks may result in injury, illness, disability or death. IN CONSIDERATION FOR BEING ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ACTIVITY, PARTICIPANT AGREES TO WAIVE ANY AND ALL CLAIMS AGAINST AND TO HOLD HARMLESS, RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, AND AGREE NOT TO SUE Wild Women Outdoors, LLC, all of their affiliated companies and subsidiaries, their respective insurance companies, successors in interest, commercial and corporate sponsors, agents, employees, representatives, assignees, officers, directors, ambassadors, and volunteers (each a “Released Party”) FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY and/or claims for INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property arising from participation in the Activity, INCLUDING THOSE INJURIES AND DAMAGES CAUSED BY ANY RELEASED PARTY’S ALLEGED OR ACTUAL NEGLIGENCE (including to take reasonable steps to protect against the risks of the Activity) OR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY. I AGREE TO PAY ALL COSTS AND ATTORNEY’S FEES INCURRED BY ANY RELEASED PARTY IN DEFENDING A CLAIM OR SUIT BROUGHT AS A RESULT OF PARTICIPANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THE ACTIVITY. WIth registration of this adventure the participant agrees to the above.
  • Where are Wild Women groups located?
    Currently we are located in Montana. Our locations are always growing, stay tuned for a frequently updated list.
  • Refund Policy
    Refunds must be requested via email and are sent within 10-14 business days. Payments are refunded back to the same method or card of payment used. If the refund is not able to be processed back to the same card or method of payment, a check will be mailed. Please see individual adventure for refund details. Most adventure are 50% refundable until a certain date.
  • I don’t see a Wild Women Outdoors group in my area, how can I still join?"
    We would love for you to be part of our WILD community! We now offer a virtual membership which allows access to our virtual community of wild women, a plethora of wellness and outdoor education resources and discounted offers! If you are interested in leading up a chapter of your own and having an inperson experience, we would love to have that conversation!   • Can I bring my dog with me on a group hike?
    We request that dogs not attend Wild Woman adventures due to the fact that there is already a large group of us on a trail as well as for safety reasons. However, we do hike on open trails where dogs are allowed and we understand that owners know their dog best. So, if you feel your dog would do just fine with a group then we leave that call up to you!
